The Town Board has been working these past few meetings to refine the 2026 budget.  It was decided at the September 24, 2025 Town Board meeting to keep the local levy at the same rate as adopted for the 2025 budget: $100,000.  The most current version of the 2026 proposed budget can be viewed here.

The Public Hearing for the 2026 budget has been scheduled on November 19, 2025 at 5:30 PM.  After this informational meeting has adjourned, a Special Town Meeting of the Qualified Electorate will be brought to order.  Under consideration is the adoption of the 2026 levy.  After adjournment of this special town meeting, the Town Board will convene to conduct regular business as well as to adopt the 2026 budget.
